Metroid Cards?

Hey all! My store just got in 10 packs of Metroid cards. They come in card-board type sleeves, with 3 cards each. Anyone know anything about this?

I read somewhere that they are like the pokemon cards, just scan them into your reader, and pow! your get to see Samus stats..... -eek-

Mario, and Zelda cards should not be far behind.

There's no bar codes on them... There really nice cards. The front has pictures of the characters (Theres 3 cards total, Samus, some Baby thing, and one other creature), and on the back in a Game Tip..

Yeah, boo, I just read the paper at work. I doubt we will sell 10 Metroids...MrSneis, did you guys get Monkey Ball plushes too? We got a huge box of like 30-40 of them, and we have no idea what we are doing with them.
