Anyone know any sound bytes from games that are used in rap songs? I'm listening to Hellbound with Eminem and it has the Soul Calibur theme in the background along with clips. Do you know of any others?

The Cocoa Brovaz did a song a couple years ago around the mario theme. I think it was called "super brooklyn"

And Beanie Seigel did a song called "Mac man" around the pacman theme.

Masta Ace did a song a year or two ago but I don't remember the name of it and I'm not sure if it was actually built around a video game theme song.

You're thinking about 'Rap2k1'. There were no 'popular' Video Game samples in it, but there are Video Game effects (kicks, punches, level ups). The track was based on Masta Ace having a dream that he was inside his Playstation and had to play through freestyling, fighting with record executives, and dealing with fans and critics. Good song, you guys should check it out.

I KNEW that background had to be from a videogame. Hahaha. Man, a lot of songs I like somehow all come from the Soul Edge/Calibur series.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Drunken Tiger has a song called Final Fantasy that uses RedXIII's theme from FF7.
