Question about cables

Ok, I have the akai 27in flatscreen tv and a jvc xvs65gd dvd player, would I really benefit from using higher quality rgb and audio cables? (as it is I'm using the ones that came with the dvd player). I know that the whole cable thing is a touchy subject but would better cables, for instance these listed here http://www.cablesamerica.com/categor...?cat%5Fid=5900
be over kill for the setup I currently have? Thanks for any info!!

www.partsexpress.com is where I bought all of my cables. The prices are extremely reasonable, the shipping was fast and they sent me free popcorn. I bought all Dayton cables. They seem to have the same quality as monster cables would.

thanks for the info, I'll check them out as well, any idea as to whether it would really be worth it for my setup?

It wouldn't hurt. And too, if you decide to upgrade in the future then you've already got a nice set of cables.

Wank,

The cables sold at the link you gave are very reasonably priced for Component cables and would be about the price point I would suggest getting. It's when you get into the $80 + range for Component cables that is becomes over kill. Also if you have three good quality video cables (usually yellow tiped) they will be identical to any component cable set you buy.

thanks for all the info guys, very much appreciate it!! I think I'll go ahead and buy some of the python ones via the link in my first post, I imagine they'll prove some benefit vs. the standard come with cables and they won't cost more than a quarter of my current setup
