Review Wanted: Smashing Pumpkins - Greatest Hits Video Collection (2001)

Is it worth getting?

Good sound/picture, extra features, performances, etc.?

Sorry, but that review is unacceptable, IMO. For one, the DVd does NOT contain every Pumpkins music video - noticeably absent is "The End is the Beginning is the End" from the Batman & Robin soundtrack.

The images are more distorted and washed for the older videos like "Today" and "Rocket" because Virgin obviously didn't try to make them look much better.

that being said, it's a no-brainer purchase for a Pumpkins fan like me. Many of their videos are spectacular, and the live performances included are indeed very impressive (and maddening, since we have no clue if the Metro show will ever be released).

Here's mine - hope it seems more acceptable

I think it's an outstanding set - definitely worth a purchase for even those with just a minor interest in the band...

It has really good special features. All the alternate takes of the videos and band member commentary are enlightening/funny/interesting. I would highly recommend it, even if teh video quality leaves something to be desired.
