So I got a Gamecube today...

I convinced my mom into buying it for me as an early Christmas present. The only game I've got so far is Metroid Prime, which I'm completely amazed by, but I'm not really sure what games I should get next. What games do you guys recommend?

Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Eternal Darkness are the best games. You can probably get some good deals on other good games like Luigi's Mansion, Wave Race: Blue Storm, Star Wars: Rogue Leader, Pikmin, Resident Evil, and some others. You should probably also check out Super Monkey Ball 1 or 2. The main single player mode is a bit better in 1 but the multiplayer is even better in 2. And don't forget about the sleeper hit Animal Crossing!

you should return your gamecube and wait till friday. best buy has a gamecube with a free wireless controller. and target is doing a gamecube with smash bros. and controller for the same price as a normal gamecube. just my two cents.

I saw Rogue Leader at Target for $29.99 the other day. I'd recommend that one.

Target has a few games marked down. Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin are $28.88. Both are fun and worth the price IMO.

Super Mario Sunshine is very good and for some non Nintendo fun I recommend James Bond Nightfire or Timesplitters 2.

RE & RE0 are the reason I bought my Cube... Those & Metroid Prime should keep you busy for a while ...

I rented Jedi Outcast, and it was disappointing.

Bounty Hunter sounds promising

I enjoyed Pikmin and Mario Sunshine... Resident Evil and RE0 are both widely loved. It would help if we knew what types of games you liked and what consoles you've owned. I didn't like Rogue Leader, Smash Brothers, Eternal Darkness or Luigi's Mansion, but alot of GCN owners seemed to. There's plenty of multiplatform games worth checking out... GCN isn't great for sports, but you could pick up something like Timesplitters 2 (I hated it alot, but I'm certainly in the minority) or check out Flay's thead for other suggestions. I've always been a big fan of Sonic, so you might want to pick up some Sonic goodness too.

The Wave Rally (Wave Racer?) dunno, the jetski exclusive to GCN is a great game.

Depends

Are you single player or multi player?

Single :

Super Monkey Ball
Super Mario Sunshine
Sonic Collection
RE0
RE

Multi

Mario Party 4
Godzilla : DAMM
Super Smash Bros
Wrestlemania X8

It really depends on how you plan on playing

Well for now I plan on playing single player since I only have one control, but eventually I plan on playing multiplayer.
