Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast?

I went to blockbuster a rented both Ghost Recon and Jedi Outcast and I'm spending more time with Jedi Outcast

Is anyone enjoying this game? I think is very cool. The Multiplayer is owesome with tons of weapons ala Unreal Championship!!!

I'm enjoying this game like I did when I played Halo the first time!

For those who are Hesitating I suggest you should rent this game or buy it.

My friend picked it up and was really liking it. Hopefully I can go over and play it this week. Multiplayer lightsaber battles sounds fun.

Played it on the PC. It wasn't as good as Jedi Knight but it is still a very very good game. Multiplayer is insane.

I've only played the PC version - it's great for a Star Wars fan (I like the original movies, but wouldn't consider myself a "fan"), but I've heard from alot of people (and feel this way myself) that it's pretty mediocre until you get a lightsaber. My only real complaint with it is that I wish they had spent a little more time getting the dynamic lighting and shading right for the PC version. It looks good, but it could've looked so much better. So far, the FPS games are the best place to go for Star Wars related experience. Lucasarts makes some really great games, but with the exception of the FPSs most of the licensed games have fallen way short of spectacular. I'm interested in seeing how good that Jango Fett game is... sounds like they pulled out the stops.

I know this game is FPS and third person when you have a light saber.

How is using the light saber? can you use it in FPS view?

i would like the game for wielding the light saber.

but if it like "jedi knights" for the psx... i will defintely pass on this game.

Rogue Leader is probably my favorite of the Star Wars games. It captures the feel of the space battle perfectly. It and the prequel were fairly highly regarded. So were the X-wing vs. Tie Fighter seriers, though I never played them. The Super Star Wars series on the SNES kicked as back in the day too. And the racing game on the N64 and dream cast was pretty decent.

So while the FPS's are awesome, I wouldn't say all other star wars games have been less than spectacular as most of the above games were pretty popular and well reviewed.

Bounty Hunter does look pretty sweet. I just hope it doesn't end up being mediocre like Shadows of the Empire on the N64. That game looked awesome, and ended up being a little lacking.

There have been a few minor exceptions like Rouge Leader, but I have to agree with Trigger on being dissapointed with most of the Star Wars related games. The Starfighter games were terrible, Jedi Power Battles was so so, Bombad Racing and even the N64 racing game didn't do it for me at all.

Super Star Wars is really the only other game that stands out in my mind as being really good. Jedi Outcast does seem pretty good from what little I've seen and the Bounty Hunter game has promise. Maybe the Star Wars games are looking up.

At least its not as bad as the Star Trek games. There is a franchise that was flushed completely down the toilet.

I forgot to mention Star Wars Galaxies of course... The only mmorpg scenario that could capture my interest short of some post-apocalyptic Mad Max scenario.

For the lack of on-line capabilites I would hope so. I was hoping this would have been an XBox Live game but alas it wasnt . But regardless its still a solid game if you havent played or beaten the PC version. Im gonna have to rent this and see if it stands up to the PC version.

Can you play this game with 2 people on one pc, or does it have to be through the online multiplayer system? Also, what is the best pc controler to use for it? I would also like anyones recomendations for games you can play as multiplayer on one pc using two contolers, like a game console.
