I think all baseball games have major flaws, but this season's World Series Baseball by Sega is probably the best. Don't know if it'll be on PS2 next year though. High Heat Baseball is considered a premiere PC video game, but the reviews haven't been too spectacular for their console counterparts.

High heat is probably the best if you're a stat head and season guy. The graphics are awful, but the gameplay makes up for it. All Star Baseball is good graphically, but some aspects of the gameplay are suspect. Triple Play, forget about it, IMO. ITs homeruns or nothing in Triple Play. World Series Baseball was XBOX only, but having played all four, its the best of the lot. I would say rent HH and ASB and see which one you like better. Im a stathead, so I like HH much better.

I really like the depth that high heat baseball has to offer. The graphics are not the best, but it won't take too long before you realize the depth of the game makes up for that.
