...haven't seen the movie in something like 45 years... dimly remember it being terribly talky... yak yak yak, on and on and on... probably considered pretty 'adult' and 'shocking' in its day... notable mainly for being the first Hitchcock feature filmed entirely in color, and for the 'gimmick' of the 'action' supposedly taking place in 'real time'... here's a review of the DVD...

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
I bought this DVD and I thought it was going to be just "okay", but I actually enjoyed it a lot. It was fascinating to watch how Hitchcock filmed each scene in one long continuous take. Despite this being a gimmick, I thought it worked very well. The entire film is set in one apartment and I thought it would get boring, but it never did. (The film was so interesting to me that I rewatched it again the next day.) The transfer and colors are very good, and James Stewart gives a wonderful performance.
