According to CNN, Xbox ahead of Cube

http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/fun.gam...eut/index.html

Doesn't mention their sources, doesn't mention figures, but for all you haters out there that like to be the first to say "yah, its probably an xbox guy writing about it" or what not, all media is biased in some form or another. But this is CNN, so at least for me they're reputable to some extent.

Then again, anyone can make a mistake.

There, did I cover it all?

Take it for what it says.

This is an Xbox live article not a Xbox is ahead of the Cube article though its briefly mentioned.

Xbox has been number 2 since the very start in the US. Where have you been?

Yeah the XBox has been number 2 here in the US for a while now. I have expected to see the GC pull ahead by early next year in the US although they are ahead in worldwide numbers.

Of course MS is way ahead of the GC in online gaming since Nintendo has not released anything yet and may not for all we know.

I was a bit surprised at how many network adapters Sony has sold. 200,000 is far more than I expected them to sell although the Broadband /dial up numbers seem about right. I think had MS made their builtin modem a combo they might have increased the Live sales a bit since most people still do not have broadband.

It's because X-box is bigger and heavier.

Nintendo's online plan as of right now is nothing special by any means for those gamers looking to play online.

However, PS0 1&2 is a great game and ahouldn't be dismised so easily. I had the oppertunity sit down and play this last week, and it quite good.
