Here in NYC, the cable channel NY! - an all-news channel. The weekday morning anchor Pat Kiernan (he's a Canadian, by the way) is the best thing on local TV, and better than most national anchors. Low key, and with a wicked sense of humor!

rarely watch local news, but www.wgrz.com the NBC affiliate has a fairly good looking anchor considering she's probably close to 40
she must have been really hot when she was 20

I don't watch the news that often. But when I do, I usually turn to local ABC station in San Francisco, KGO.

nbc4 (wrc) in dc - this team has been togehter for at least 10 years.

Jim Vance- yes, he had a coke habit in the 80's ( hey who didn't)
Doreen Gentlzer, Bob Ryan

and of course the best local sports caster ever George Micheal.

People always say that Houston and Atlanta resemble each other. The local news is an embarassment. I will sometimes watch it out of necessity, and always feel dirty afterwards.

I don't watch tv news, its all fluff and just about useless...

That being said, my favorite newscaster has to be the guy who made the J-Lo bj slip. I don't know who he is or what station he works for (or if he is still employed, heh), but that was funny.

Too hard to tell. Pretty much every anchor has switched stations once or twice. I like to keep track for kicks, but they never tell you, so you just have to wait and one day see that the weatherman on my ABC channel is now on FOX or WB. Is nobody satisfied with their job?

Yeah, love the white hair. I'd probably be more forgiving of her if her damn Close-up specials didn't interupt legitimate national prime time programming.

And on the hottie front, I'd be thrilled if someone could prove me wrong, but there's not a looker in the bunch: WXIA, WGNX, WAGA, WSB ... nowhere.

When I worked at KCCI in Des Moines, this was the reporter I worked with 99% of the time

THAT was a fun two years We actually got to be really good friends too. I took her aerobics classes and I taught her how to rollerblade. Good times...
