Has anyone gotten Unreal Championship for the XBox yet?
Did anyone pick up this game yet today? I heard from my local gamestop that it was suppose to be out today Nov 14, 2002.

Every place I talked to today said that it was delayed until tomorrow in order to launch directly with Xbox live. It was a pretty solid answer from 3-4 different chains, but who knows? I plan on getting mine tomorrow (with any luck).

I just called up a bunch of big chain stores over here in Torrance, CA. All of them don't have UC yet, except for Toy 'R Us (score!). Both Electronics' Boutique and Target said they won't have stock till Friday (XBL launch day). The guy at TRU said they have plenty of copies of UC, so I'm dropping by there on my way home from school.

People at the local EB said that MicroS was PO'd that retailers have been selling Live before the Friday launch and has been killing the servers before they were ready. Basically they asked for Unreal to be bumped till Friday. True or BS I have no idea.

A buddy and I both got it at TRU. We regularly have 8 player Thursday night Halo matches (4 on 4) and hoped this would be the next thing. It isn't. System link with 8 people in Unreal is a nightmare. The interface was HORRIBLY designed. It is very difficult to get everyone into the game with the right names/profiles and on the correct team. Unreal needs serious work as a system link game. We will be sticking to Halo on Thursday nights.
My friend is extremely disappointed in the game. However, while I am also disappointed, I am less so because it is pretty fun to play on Xbox Live.
