XBOX Racing Games
So.. after a year of whining about it, and owning 3 games.. I finally got my XBOX this weekend.
So I'm totally hooked on Project Gotham again.. but my roommate really wants a game like Gran Turismo, where you can upgrade the cars, and all the more sim-like aspects.
With so many racers, one of them has to be like that?
Suggestions?

Hahaha.. that's funny cause my Box came with GT but I traded it it for credit off the system since I already had JSRF and Project Gotham.. oops..
So it's not as close, but do you still get to work on the cars, like upgrading them and stuff?

I honestly didn't find GT3 to be that much better than SegaGT 2002. Call me crazy. I just found SG2K2 to be more fun, partially because of the controls.
The Xbox is a great system for racers, btw. Project Gotham; Rallisport Challenge; MotoGP; SegaGT2 2002; Quantum Redshift; and more to come.

Oh yeah, forgot about Circus Maximus. Certainly not a perfect game, but waaaay underrated. It's quite unique, and once you get the hang of it (which can me kinda tricky), it's a lot of fun. Cool co-op mode.
