recording DVDs
Hi. My brother is convinced that there is hardware available to record from DVD to DVD but i do not think so. I heard a USA guy has the software for PC but it gives poor copy on to Video lazer disc. Is there likely to be DVD to DVD soon as he is holding out for it?

I suspect this thread will be locked but here is a link that I just happened to see on CNN today

There are DVD recorders out on the market that can copy DVD's. Go to any major electronics dealer in the US and they will more than likely have them. Read the first 3 pages of this very forum and you'll find threads discussing them.
However, copying a copyrighted DVD is bootleging, and thus illegal in the US so we do not discuss how to do that in this forum.

We might be able to discuss copying dvd to dvd under certain circumstances, but I'm reading the original poster to be inquiring about copying commercial dvds.
Closing.
