The Mind of the Married Man 11/10
What a downer of an episode:
Jake gets kicked out.
Donna gets romantic with an old flame.
Doug lost his precious Vette.
Randall had his pants pulled down again.

When Mind was a comedy last year I didn't really enjoy it but this year as a drama, the show is great! I love the story lines this year when all their marriages have gone in the toilet. It makes for very exciting TV.

I've been avoiding this show after watching a few episodes last year-- the jokes seemed lame and Tim Roth's character was comically flat. Has it improved that much?

The overall feeling I get watching this show back-to-back with "Curbing Your Enthusiam" is like getting a high from wherever you get it, and then getting that crashing fall from such a high. Besides the fantasy tidbits, this show can be as cold/boring as real life sometimes.

• Quoth gkleinman •
A real downer of an episode. Wasn't this show supposed to be fun. I understand characters have highs and lows but do we have to get ALL the lows at once

Dan: Ya know, Casey. Some days it's worth it ... taking all the pies in the face. Sometimes you come through it feeling good. So, how was your day?
Casey: Sometimes you just stand there ... hip deep in pie.
