Silent Hill 2 Restless Dreams now on PS2
The once Xbox exclusive version of Silent Hill 2 is now available on PS2 under the Greatest Hits label. This is the first time a greatest hits version has been improved upon since the original version. If you haven't gotten Silent Hill 2, pick it up for $20 for the extra Maria scenario.

I don't even want to see the Maria scenario. It was left out of the original for a reason, it doesn't follow the story line. I just started playing SH2 again, but for some reason I can't figure out while its not giving me the camera (like I thought it was supposed to) after you beat the game the first time. Once I figure that out, I'm off to the nightmare again.

The Greatest Hits version of Crash Bandicoot on the PS2 has quicker load times than the original. Also, the Greatest Hits version of one of the Jet Moto games on the PS1 had more tracks. Sometimes it's better to wait, but I can't stand the Greatest Hits labels.

You can confirm for me this is the Restless Dreams version? I called Babbage's about it today, the guy said "No, Restless Dreams is an XBox exclusive." I told him I read it was on the PS2 GH version, he said "I don't know about that" and hung up before I could finish talking.
I saw it at Best Buy a few days ago, but didn't even bother to look at it since I own the regular version, and assumed it was the same. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow.

As a note about the GH, I am not sure it is not Restless Dreams, but I have not received word from Konami via press release that this happened, although some times they are behind.

I can confirm it is true since I bought it at Best Buy. It has the sub-scenario Maria: "Born from a Wish." It also clearly states it on the back of the package.

Don't expect much from the BfaW chapter. The second time I played it, skipping all the cut-scenes, it took me 13 minutes. Funny how Konami said it would have 3-5 hours of gameplay.

Actually, it does fit the story and is interesting, if not incredibly short. Its a separate event, so it was not "cut out" of the main game.

It is so much better if you just follow one person, its easier to identify and get more involved with the game. Of course, this is just my opinion.
