Any poll where Queen takes the top spot already has a strike against it. I love probably 95% of these songs, but really, polls are meaningless.

At a glance these all look to be UK singles releases and AFAIK LZ didn't release any singles in the UK.

Actualy looking at this poll it looks very much like the millenium poll which was the top 100 songs of the last century. I don't think that it was restricted to London I'm sure that it was a UK wide poll.

im surprised how what was consitered in this and many forums as the most annoying song of the year "cant get you out of my head" (i liked it though) made the list.

Actually, seeing how it is a British poll, this makes perfect sense as it is the #1 single in British History (sure, it has been released a few times, hit #1 two or three times, but the #1 nevertheless). Not only did was it on the heels of creating the music video but it is a kick ass little song. If not the best of all time, I do think it deserves it's spot near the top.

But, being a huge Queen fan, I am rather biased.
