Question about right and distributions, i.e. "Why Isn't Friends on the WB?"

The WB network didn't exist when "Friends" first premeired.
Besides, many other WB-produced shows don't air on the WB. "The Drew Carey Show" is produced by the WB but airs on ABC. Same thing for 20th Century FOX - Buffy aired on The WB and then moved to UPN, but it's produced by FOX. It's pretty common. Just because a studio produced a show doesn't mean the network wants it, so another network might pick it up. That network only has the rights to air it in primetime, and the studio owns the right to distribute it Internationally and in syndication.

Yeah doesn't that happen all the time? Just because Warner does the show, doesn't mean they have to put it on the WB. I remember CBS did Caroline in the City and it was on NBC.
