- Alan Jackson is a great singer and probably one of the few "real" country stars left in the biz, but he totally dominated the awards because of the "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning" song. While being a good song, the awards were a total cop out. It was even nominated for Music Video of the Year. The video was from the actual CMA awards last year where he is just sitting in a chair with his guitar singing...WTF? C-O-P Out!
- Martina McBride
- What was up George (Strait)? Why did you look constipated the entire night? You are a great singer and have numerous awards, don't let a shut out (again) get you down. You are probably the greatest country singer of your generation.
- Toby Keith shut out. (seeing him in concert November 22nd) too bad Alan Jackson dominated.
- Shania Twain

I would've picked George Strait (my all time favorite country singer) for Entertainer of the Year, but this year he wasn't into many things. Just like the two years before.
But I still love his music.
