New Twilight Zone picked up for full season
UPN has picked up the new Twilight Zone for the rest of the 2002-2003 season.
That only leaves one question, when is the axe going to fall on Haunted?

Maybe they have nothing to put in that time slot?
I've given up on TZ. Nothing worthy of note. As dated as the old episodes are, they still have more to offer.
If not for West Wing, I might stick with it. But only for the "nothing else is on" syndrome.

cracksky, they ordered 13 to start with. The full-season pickup increases that to 22 episodes.
UPN is hurting:
As the lead-out to "Enterprise," "Twilight Zone" was hailed by network officials as the most compatible partner for a "Star Trek" franchise in UPN history, with an average household retention rate of 73%.
However, UPN is actually faring worse in the time slot compared with last year, according to figures from Nielsen Media Research. "Zone" has averaged a 1.2 rating/3 share so far in the key 18-34 demo, compared with a 1.8/5 at the comparable point last year for "Special Unit 2." But "Zone" enjoys a far higher retention rate because "Enterprise" has plummeted 54% in 18-34 compared with the same period last year (4.8 vs. 2.2).

with TZ I think it is either hit or miss. someimes it can be as mind bending as the original (the first one with the fertilizer was pretty good) but other times it is way to strait forward to have the name TZ. oh well, there is always the ride!

I guess one person's gold is another person's trash. Personally, I thought the fertelizer episode was...well, fodder for fertilizer. The "twist" of having the kids getting killed and turning into mulch had me rolling with laughter more than anything else. I had no idea this new Twilight Zone was supposed to be so damn funny!
