Are there any video game stores that accept PC games for trade ins?
I was curious if any of the video game trade in stores (Funcoland, EB Games, Game Stop, etc.) will accept PC games as trade ins towards credit for new games? I have a lot of old PC games I would love to get rid of. I know for a fact that Game Crazy doesn't deal with PC games but I think I remember seeing Game Stop selling PC games.

EB will sometimes accept PC games...but only newer games. If you have some newer titles, just bring them in and have the EB salesperson scan them to see if they are in the computer...

The EB I usually go to (Skokie, IL) accepts just about any PC game they can resell, although it seems to be dependent on what is still in their register computers.

Where do you live? Here in NC there are a few different "Ed McKay's Used Books" stores around and they take books, CDs, dvds, video games and software. Not always a great deal, but at least you can unload anything you have lying around. Think I sold "The Longest Journey" (boxed) for $15 or so after I beat it. I've also sold other games there in the past, but I wouldn't buy from them -- too expensive.

Last August I went to Electronics Boutique and traded in all of my old PC games (13 of them) and they took 9 of them for $60.62 store credit. I used it towards a PS2 system. Here was the rough break down at the time to give you an example of what the going rate of some games are:
Baldur's Gate : $10.00
Baldur's Gate 2 : Collector's Edition : $3.00 (I know, I know, I got ripped off on this, the clerk had no idea why the sequel was going for less than the original, but that is what the scanner said!)
Baldur's Gate 2 : Throne Of Bhaal : $5.00
Delta Force : Land Warrior : $2.00
Diablo 2 : $10.00
Fallout Tactics : $10.00 (even without instructions!)
Wizardry 8 : $9.00
Icewind Dale : $5.00
Icewind Dale : Heart Of Winter : $2.00
They didn't take my Baldur's Gate : Tales Of The Sword Coast, Pool Of Radiance 2 (big surprise) or Dungeon Siege (the UPC was cut out for a rebate).
One of the employees gave me $5 of his own cash for my Fallout/Fallout 2 2-pack.
I just gave them PR2 and BG:TofSC for free and I'll hock Dungeon Siege on eBay.

Hmm... for many of the newer online games, isn't it one registration per game? So why would you buy something like Warcraft III or Diablo 2 used? I mean, unless you weren't planning on playing online.
A similar thing with Phantasy Star Online for Dreamcast.
