"Meet the Grubbs" canceled - before it ever aired
DUMPED: Fox canceling Randy Quaid's new sitcom, The Grubbs, before it even aired. The show, which also starred Carol Kane, was due to premiere on November 3 after Malcolm in the Middle.
It was that bad, I guess. I've never seen a positive review of the show, so it figures. Has this even ever happened before? I know there was a show once in the 50's that was canceled while halfway through on air, but to cancel a show before the public even sees it? Ouch.

It was only a matter of time until Fox started canceling shows before they air. Now the next logical step for them is to go onto the sets and cancel them before filming commences...
It won't be long until they start going back in time to assassinate a show creator's parents before he was even born.
"We can make it so that Greg the Bunny and Family Guy *never even happened*!"

The Clerks animated series was pretty much cancelled before it aired. I think they just aired the two episodes just to say they did. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the commentary.

Same goes for "Thieves", which was oh-so-quickly axed, and "Kate Brasher", the CBS drama with Ephram from "Everwood"...which was canceled so fast I don't even remember the show was really about.
