It does not include a shirt nor memory card nor case. I kinda feel cheated a bit but oh well, at least I got online with no problem what so ever. I just plugged my ethernet cable into my xbox and my router and everything went smoothly.
I wish I had at least gotten the tshirt

I got the same email. I actually went to order the dumb thing only to find out that they charge for both shipping AND tax. Uh, not thanx. The only real appeal is the free games and the only one that sounded good to me was the football game, but guess what? That game is only playable during the beta test window.

Geez I need to go to bed earlier. I don't know why I thought that the T and the Memory card was included even after reading those posts.

any idea how many people have been selected as beta testers? i got the e-mail offer today, but am wondering if it isn't just something they're now just offering to everyone to drum up sales since the beta testing is ending in a few weeks anyway.

The only reason left to beta is to get your gamertag now and squeeze whatever online playing you can before the launch. I figure with the shipping you have to pay MS to get your unit (about 9 bucks for the cheapest) you might as well as wait for the official launch. That way you avoid shipping charges by getting it from eb or wherever it's convenient. (unless you're absolutely dying to try out xbox live )
I think I was part of the 3rd wave (around oct. 11) so I got it cuz I would have at least a month of online gaming/beta testing before the official launch.
