J P Melville's Le Douos - New France DVD edition
Does anyone know whether the new France dvd edition of J P Melville's Le Douos, release on Oct 7, has English sub ?
This new edition is released by Studio Canal which also release the second edition of Godard's Pierrot le fou which have Eng sub.
Both Melville and Godard dvd are in the same series which have the same dvd cover design.
Studio Canal also release a new edition of Godard's Made in USA in this series and also is uncertain whether it is Eng sub ?

...well... I'm guessing here, but the version of Le Doulos, released in March 2000, didn't have English subtitles - I suspect the 'new' release will just be a port of the old one... but don't hold me to that - please!

The Serie Noir edition of Godard's Pierrot le fou has English subs, while the first DVD version of it did not. Needless to say, it is considerably better than the Fox Lorber edition all around, so no one should hesitate to get it.
