"Island of the Sharks" Imax transfer
Imax's dvd transfers can be all fog, but this title has great video. It comes with DD and dts and a catalog of titles that might be of interest to people that are off the beaten path.
I used an old JVC701 (yes, it still works), an old 27" tube and just pro-logic sound.
One element that might be a little annoying is the music that comes along with many Imax transfers. I just blocked it out and enjoyed the visuals.

Compared to the less than stellar transfer of " Cirque de Soliel: Journey of Man" from Columbia/TriStar, Image's DVD releases are always reference quailty IMO, the picture is ultra vivid. On the other hand I was surprised that the DTS/DD track isn't as aggressive as other Imax films, I would assume that this is due to the subject matter of the filim and that the sound designers choose to make the surround track as subtle as it is normally under water.
