Help Me Find Ent. Wkly Article About TV Shows on DVD
Mods, please feel free to move this topic if I posted in incorrect forum.
I am looking for an Entertainment Weekly article about TV shows that are being transferred to DVD. I purchased the actual magazine, but then threw it away. I believe it was the one with Matt LeBlanc on the cover saying "It Feels Good to Kick Survivor's @$$".
I looked for the article via both the ew.com website and google but couldn't find anything. I believed it some of the shows it mentioned Sopranos, Simpsons, and My So-Called Life. It discussed why studios are producing TV DVD sets and the costs associated with them. I think it mentioned initial authoring was around $50,000 (or $500,000), after which each individual dvd costs $2 to $3 each to produce and break even points for sales.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in locating a link to this article.
