Conflict: Desert Storm

Has anyone played this game?

I went to rent Robotech at blockbuster and I had a coupon for rent one get one free and I picked Conflict: Desert Storm since I ran out of options and expecting this game to Suck!!!

I actually think this game is really good and very realistic war game. It has missions that reminded me of movies like:
Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Enemy at the Gates, Behind Enemy Lines and most of all the game takes place like in the movie Three Kings.

This game has 4 Player Cooperative Game Play!!!

I haven't played the console version
cuz I got it on my PC and it's a pretty freakin' sweet game
you get to control 4 teammates and they can gain experience
and medals after completing missions
although ur teammates aren't the sharpest tools in the shack
they're pretty effective if placed in a strategic position,
especially the sniper, when he becomes more skillful
don't know how well the controls will work on the console though

The game looks pretty cool. Graphics seem quite atmospheric despite being crude. And being able to play as the SAS is a nice touch.

I say they are both about the same quality.

What makes Desert Storm a little better is that you get to control of 4 soldiers and you can comand them to do anything you want.

Can you play only controlling one soldier? I'm more of a MOHAA fan than a game like Ghost Recon..........

Yes, you can control only one soldier but is very risky. You need your other 3 soldiers in position to watch your back.

You can command your soldiers in SOCOM, too. (With a headset, to boot).
