So my uncle decides he has to clean the gutters (and take out all of the two leaves that are in there). He gets up on a ladder and tries using the end of a rake to get the stuff out. Of course he trips on the ladder, the rake gets caught on his satellite dish and the whole thing comes crashing down. BTW, guess who didn't opt for a professional install. Anyway, he wasn't hurt, for the most part, but his dish is. He's got a directv hdtv dish and the little part where you attach the LNBs is cracked and it jiggles in the wind. I was gonna try to glue it the entire bracket to the dish mount, but if he ever needed to take it down, he'd have to take the glue off. Anyway, does anyone know where to get this piece? I tried radioshack but they won't sell it to you with the dish. It's the little 3-pronged piece that the lnb's fit into.

did you try calling a home theater shop locally that sells direct tv?

maybe even best Buy sells parts.

I tried BB, but they didnt' sell that part individually. A lot of places sell the entire set, but I haven't found one yet that sells it individually.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I plugged directv hdtv dish parts into google and this was the 3rd link it gave me:

http://www.satellitedeals.com/page16.htm

Hope that helps.

Your going to have to go direct to the dish manufacturer because parts like that usually aren't kept in stock by dealers.

-David He's talking about the plastic piece that you screw in the 2 or 3 LNB's. The HD dish for DirecTV is the oval one and has at least the two LNB's with option for a 3rd one. There are some that don't have the peice he needs and contain all three LNB's in a single unit.

This part is kinda hard to find. Guess I'll tell him to call directv and ask them to send it. I don't know what else to do. Blade, the page you linked doesn't have it. Thx anyway
