NCAA 2003 Football & Madden 2003
I have a question or just your thoughts. I already have Madden 2003 for PS2 but I really like football games and am thinking about getting NCAA 2003. My question is it worth it ? Is the game play that much different ? What are your thoughts on having both ?
Thanks

On the XBox, the gameplay is pretty identical -- NCAA '03 is the Madden '02 engine.
I picked up NCAA03 to supplement Madden 03 just to mix up the atmosphere a little bit.

I have both, but I'm not playing either much right now (too many other games). If I had to pick, I'd take NCAA over Madden, but I'm more of a college football fan.
You can import your graduating seniors to the Madden draft pool. Gameplay is very similar. If you're familiar with one, you can jump right into the other. Running the option makes NCAA different of course.

I bought NCAA instead of Madden as I like College Football better.
The main gameplay difference in the option. The games tend to be a little more high scoring as well.
I also greatly prefer the Dynasty mode to the Franchise mode. It just seems more fun to be successful, watch your team prestige rise, and start getting better recruits, than to just draft, trade and sign free agents.

If I had to choose I'd pick NCAA because I like the idea of having a bunch of paople leave your team every year. It makes the dynasty mode more exciting in my opinion. But having both is a bonus because you can play both seasons simultaneously and import the draft classes. If you have a favorite player from your college team you can try to set NFL records with them and so on. This is especially cool if you can get custom rosters with the real names of college players.

I say go With NCAA 2003 from EA sports and NFL 2k3 from Sega.
I only own NCAA 2003 for the Gamecube for Now but being such
a College Football Freak!I will just wait until I can get NFL 2k3
for like $20 off Flea-Bay!
I am currently playing as the Kansas State Wildcats on NCAA 2003
with 5 Minute quarters and All-American setting and here's
My Damage:
vs. Harvard 56 - 7W
vs. Rutgers 35 - 7W
vs. Navy 55 - 0W
vs. USC 26 - 20W
at Colorado 31 - 28W
vs. Okla.St. 36 - 3W
vs. Texas 38 - 13W
at Baylor 48 - 10W
at Kansas 50 - 3W
vs. Iowa St. 44 - 14W
vs. Nebraska
at Missouri
Will keep updating scores so cheer me on as I take the Wildcats
to the Fiesta Bowl!!

If you like college better then the pros your going to like NCAA more and the same with Maddens 2003 if you like NFL better your going to enjoy that much more.
NCAA 2003 seems to be a tad bit faster especially on kick returns and punt returns, its easior to pick off and you fumble more in NCAA,you have outragous scores to like in the real game,if your a pigskin fan buy them both.
I give Maddens the nod because I like the pro's better and Im in love with mini-camp and franchise, you cant go wrong with ether of these quality titles.
