Did this come out yesterday, or not?

Did anyone get it, or can someone point me to reviews? I know I like the movie, I just need to know how the extras are.

It has come out, I received my copy last Friday from ddd, but have yet to get around to watching. I believe there are some reviews, and another post discussing this elsewhere on the site, if you do a search.

Although I never have much luck using the search function myself.

Extras are great. Some behind the scene interviews about the script, production, etc.

Also has sun really funny outtakes if you're a fan of the film.

Great disc, and it's only $12 bucks at Costco if you have one near you.

Anamorphic transfer looks much nicer than my old copy.

I didn't have the old disc, but I would assume the new one is much better. The transfer looks fine-just remember that it was shot on 16mm (like This is Spinal Tap and Chasing Amy).

I wish Miramax would stop using the peach disc labels. Pulp Fiction had nice artwork, why couldn't this?

Don't believe the Best Buy ad though-it is not a 2-disc set.

Where are the outtakes? I saw them listed on the back, but couldn't find them with the deleted scenes. I tried all the menus, looking for a hidden icon or something & couldn't find any. They list 3 deleted scenes on the box, plus an outtakes reel. There are really 5 deleted scenes though(or 4 & 6). Are 2 of them considered outtakes? I was looking for "bloopers" outtakes.

I bought the Swingers Special Edition and am not that pleased at all. I thought there would be as many outtakes/extras as there were on the exceptional dvd "Made". The package is misleading. There is no: deleted/alternate Golfing scene, outtake reel or directors introduction. All you get are 5 short deleted/alternate scenes, 4 documentaries and 2 commentaries. You think this would be plenty to keep me busy, but once I found out the package was full of it - I lost interest completley.

I watched it tonight, and loved it.. The documentaries are very interesting and thorough, the deleted scenes are average at best (though The Kiss was sort-of interesting).. The rest of the extras are just fluff. Haven't even gotten around to watching the movie yet, as the documentaries were close to an hour in length. But very happy for my $13 purchase!
