Windtalkers reveiw @dvdfile

This one was a mixed bag for me. I was going to pick it up for the audio, but now I'm not sure. Here is the link for the review:

Off all their recent box office flops on DVD(Harts War, Bandits Deuces Wild), Windtalkers is the one that gets no extras.

If the screenwriters had given more screen time to Adam Beach's character than Nick Cage, I would have liked it alot more. I am hoping that another Region, say HK, might get the chance and add a DTS track on a non-region 1 edition.

According a post on HTF:

www.bbfc.co.uk has classified two commentaries for the upcoming UK DVD of Windtalkers (1. Nicolas Cage and Christian Slater, 2. Roger Willie and Albert Smith ) and 50 mins of other stuff. How come these weren't on the R1 release? Is MGM planning a R1 SE?
