If you have to ask.

Los Angeles.
Several of us here are obsessed with the Channel 4 news in LA.
Sad but true.

OH>>>>MY>>>>>>GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Anchors that were on last night are not even listed on the website.

What....were they like, walking by around 11???
We MUST get to the bottom of this....

Ahhh, I remember Channel 4 news. That was some soft, soft news. They always had this heirarchy of news stories that went something like this:
1: Celebrity / Entertainment News
2: Car Chases
3: Earthquakes
4: Violent or Grusome Local Murder/ Kidnapping
5: Local Sports (Lakers, Dodgers, Angels)
6: Local Politics
7: National News
or something like that No wonder OJ sent them straight to heaven; it was their greatest dream come true!

I'm still in shock that Keith Morrison parlayed that job into a national gig, how the hell did THAT happen?

You have been gone too long, my friend! Order is now:
1: Car Chases
2: Celebrity / Entertainment Murders
3a. STORMWATCH!
3b: Earthquakes (Depending on which came first...)
4: Violent or Gruesome Local Murder/ Kidnapping
5: Local Sports (Lakers, Dodgers, Angels)
6: Odd News
7: Weekend Box office/Nielsen's/Awards
What's politics? What's National News?

mini, missing the weekend anchors, smelling a plot!

Just out of curiosity, was the meteorologist the same one as usual? As far as I'm concerned, a station can throw any schmuck from the street behind the anchor desk but the meteorologists have to be good (and familiar to me) for me to watch a newscast.

then don't click it if you feel it's a waste of space, I'm sure your response wasn't doing anything other then creating more wasted space

Well, yes and no.
It was the same guy they have had since the "disappearence" of Christopher Nance about 3 weeks ago.
Links for Lefty....and those wanting the old Nance news
One more waste of space thread!

What do you mean, "In a box"? You mean like CNN, or they got 'em in a box?

I watch channel 5, and only in the morning. Sharon Tay gives me the hot!

No. I mean like a cat carrier.
Or something stronger.
And while we are at it, WTF is up with Paul Moyer's ever changing and incredibly FAKE hair color????
Dude. You are OLD. Deal with it.
You cannot carry off the wierd hair like Colleen Williams!

Sharon Tay is cool.

OK, I called.

Guy: Manuel Teodora
Just filling in for Furnell Chatman
Woman: Denise Valdez
New.
They both SUCKED IMHO.
Eff that.
The guy in the news office was thinking I was a member of the Press or Media Relations.
I simply explained that I was representing myself, had no life and hung up.

Now to get to the bottom of Moyer's "Hair"....

Well, you had a question, and the Otters let you down.

can you really call it news?

I'll be the first the make fun of it, then again, I will be the first to turn it on aswell.

Hell, it's usually broken into with a breaking news of a car chase.
