Thanks for pointing that out. First I've heard of it. I like Kurosawa, but I'm not sure if I'm enough of a fan of RAN to spring for this. Then again, if it's the best quality transfer we're ever likely to see, I might.

Incidentally the same edition of 'Ran' as included in the set will be available separately in early 2003 i believe.
