Pretty fun game, and it's free, so it's hard to complain too much about it.

Soldat is a unique side-view multiplayer action game. It takes the best from games like Liero, Worms, Quake and Counter-Strike and gives you fast action gameplay with tons of blood and flesh. Soldiers fight against each other on 2D battle arenas using a deadly military arsenal.

A little bit late, but I stumbled onto Soldat, when I was looking for a worms-type game.

Yeah I tried it for a while, but got pissed by the extreme proficiency of online players. Off screen 1 hit kills gets old after a while.
Playing liero with 2 people on 1 computer was one of the funnest things I have ever done. If you want to get a sucky opponent interested, set reload times to 0 and give him a really explosive gun...
