Ultraman and TMNT on Foxbox? Sat. Morning might not suck.
Ok, in a complete reversal of my previous old thread - I've suddenly discovered that Saturday Mornings may NOT suck after all!
Starting sometime this fall, Fox is overhauling their Fox Kids, and adding a whole bunch of stuff to the line up. Although TMNT could be cool (depends if they F it up or not), Ultraman is very much cool. I've heard about this newest series over in Japan for a while now - and although it never gets beyond "Camp Rubber Monster of the Week" like the Ultraman of the 70's - there's still a lot to be said for that style of show.
Sadly it'll be dubbed and edited, but hopefuly it'll still be damn cool.
(Oh, and I might just have to catch an episode or two of Stargate. I've always like the premise, and if the cartoon is solid enough - well, who knows. . . .)
Dont get me wrong, until we get all the major networks doing solid blocks of kids programming, Sat Mornings will never be as cool as they were - but this is certanly a step in the right direction.

If only they would bring back "the Beta Capsule" from the original Ultraman, I would be drooling!
Saw the promos for this one and it actually does look decent (agree that Stargate might need a few viewings too to see what is going on with that)

isn't TMNT's a rehash of the short lived live action they already did?
as for ultraman, looks like they are simply dipping into the over seas old market since there attempts are just pointless to make a successful sat. morning cartoon.
