So any chance of either version coming to the US? I don't want to modify or import, but I'd like to try it out.

There is a slim chance this could make it to our shores on the GC or PS2. However if you dont wanna run the risk of modification there are other methods. I havent modded my GC and importing on the PS2 is hella-hard. So if you still got your DC trigger buy it for the DC.

If this is true I think I may be selling my DC pretty soon *cringe*. I was keeping my DC for this game but now that its coming out on another system I think I will have a better chance getting it for Gamecube. I have not had a chance to play it yet but it looks pretty sweet!

Believe me when I say pictures do it no justice what so ever. Id suggest keeping your DC. Importing on GC isnt hard but save the $$$ youd spend on modifications and just get the DC version.

I assume you're talking boot disc? Kind of a gray area, but since EB sells them it should be ok to say so here.

I think you guys are referring to DC-X, which is a region free game player thats sold at EB for a pretty reasonable price, about $15-20 I think (don't quote me on that though). No modding required.

As for selling my DC, I thought a lot about it and my system isn't what it used to be when I first got it, it has a lot of problems reading discs . I haven't played it in ages and the last time I tried it I had to reset SoA 4 times before it loaded properly...I think its on its last legs. It was a great system while it lasted . My Gamecube is already modded so I'm ready to get this!

Anyway I just heard from my friend that they have Ikaruga at some miniature golf place near my house which I've never been to. But you can bet I'll go there now!
