I really don't know where it belongs. can we pass a law where the word "duh" be banned or censored from the forum? it sounded really stupid.
A thread with "how cool is that" as it's meat.. please for the love of god, ADD MORE DETAIL WHEN YOU POST!

Sorry d00d, I'm not a gamer, nor is everyone on the planet. So, okay, there's some promotion where you order the game and get the movie free... is that it? Am I on the right track now? Okay, so that's the deal - now, how do you know it's anamorphic? Have you already got yours, taken it home to your 16:9 tv and played it? Or is it listed as anamorphic on the disc? Or did some punk, snotty game store clerk tell you he thought it was probably gonna be anamorphic, even though he didn't know what that meant, while he was playing Super Mario Cart, sucking down Surge and Cheesy Poofs?
Quit holdin' out on the insider info yo. Come clean.

DVD Talk Special Edition
It looks like the same Universal DVD that has been out for years that is non-anamorphic. Why would it be remastered for a game promotional item? It doesn't make sense.

It might be helpful to point out that some of the original Universal DVDs are LABELED anamorphic, but none of them actually ARE anamorphic...
This thread is severely frustrating...

I thought posters here actually checked the other rooms. And apparently nobody on DVD Talk checks out the DVD Bargains. There was the info I thought you knew about. I just wanted to talk about the disc, not the offer. That's why it was posted on DVD Talk. So I guess it's my bad that nobody bothered to look. DUH!!
Ok, kidding aside. I have the original Thing DVD (one of my favorites) and there's not a single trace of the word "anamorphic" on the box, the disc or the booklet. The PROMO disk looks a little different from my disk and says anamorphic. Did they keep the old disks for 2 or 3 years just to dump them now? Weird then.
Next time I post a topic I'll have a thesis to back it up. Thanks
