Well got the newest Game Informer in the mail today... they are officially the biggest videogame magazine now with the most circulation... they are also pretty crappy, but a decent read.

They also had a big special on GTA : Vice City, a big review on Mario Sunshine and the football games, and a big preview of the online feautres of the big 3 systems... mostly bashing Nintendo, and slightly bashing Xbox as they "disagree" with them excluding 56K users, all the while saying that it will be nice to not have to deal with 56K.

NFL 2K3 has worse visuals on the Game Cube. How can the PS2 have better visuals?

Probaly didn't optimize the coding for the GC's hardware or maybe 2 different reviewers and opinions of the games graphics?

The fact they gave MIB such a high score should probably disqualify their reviews anyway.

I can't believe they gave Beach Spikers a 5. I haven't played the game yet but it sounds like a lot of fun.

Bruce Lee sucked, but to give it a 1 is just silly. I'd give it a 3 or a 4... throw them a frickin bone at least.

Thye gave that same score to the GBA Episode II Attack of the Clones. After playing it at E3 I can agree completely. I want to read these reviews, I wish my GI would get here already.

out of all the gaming magazines i would say that i trust GI the most. i still like the one score of 1-10. I hate the magazines that don't give an average ie EGM and Nintendo Power.

Wait a minute, Game Informer is supposedly the biggest magazine? This has to be some sort of mistake... Game Informers are impossible to find (for me-- and that has to count for something) and I'm quite sure that many people have not even heard of it. There is no way it is outselling EGM, or even crappy GamePro for that matter.

I'm guessing if they are the biggest it's because of the promo with Gamestop. Where you get a subcription with joining the used games club. That's how they got me. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my new issue yet.

I also get GameInformer now because of my GAmestop membership card..

According to the "letter from the editor", they are the most circulated videogame magazine..

So, yes they are bigger than EGM and whatever press-release made to look like a gaming magazine.

It's $10, which entitles you to a year's membership to GI, and a card which gets you 10% off used games (whoopppie...)
