Cheapest region-free player with PAL to NTSC conversion?

i'm interested in getting a cheap dvd player capable of playing dvd's from any region that also does the PAL to NTSC conversion. i know the Malata is the "best", but i'm just looking for the least expensive, as i basically only want it for the Hong Kong Legends Bruce Lee dvd's. as long as it can handle those, i'll be happy. are there any that are under $100? thanks for your help in advance.

I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find a lot of discussion on this topic (especially in the International Forum). That being said, the short answer is the Daewoo 5800, which can be had at Sam's Club for $89. Gets pretty high marks from users.

there is also the apex players that you can burn in new software with a cd that will make it region free... you can do a search pretty easily at google to find websites dedicated to the process... those players are like 60 bucks.
