Help with hooking up tivo,dig cable,directv??
I currently have digital cable and a standalone phillips tivo, but will be adding a direct tv reciever. How would I hook everything up?
I believe how I have it set up now is digital cable connects to tivo through coax, tivo connects to vcr with rca, vcr connects to a/b switch, which connects to mt tivo with rca.
I am guessing that the directtv will connect to the tivo with rca, and then to my a/b swith rcas. That way I will just hit the swith for either digital cable, directtv, or my gaming systems. Please let me know if this makes sense, or if I am all wrong.
I guess I am kind of confused to whether the tivo will pick up the channel lineups of my cable company and the satalite?
