Problem with my Panasonic RV-32

I have a problem with the Panasonic RV-32 DVD player and would like to see if any of you would know the solution to it. When playing Video CDs in the player, the picture would seem zoomed in, cutting off parts of the picture on the sides, top, and bottom. This problem, however, does not occur when I'm playing my DVDs. I have tried everything I could think of, such as pressing the Zoom button and changing the TV aspect ratio for the DVD player, but still of no avail. Thanks in advance!!!

What type of VCD is it and how was it recorded? The 32 doesn't play all VCD formats.
