Beating Sinistar
Does anyone remember that 80's arcade game Sinistar? The game was one of the first to incorporate sound technology that allowed the game to 'speak'. Well, two or three phrases at least.
If you do then maybe you can help me out with this dilemma: I could not and still can't figure out how to beat Sinistar himself. I know that those small flying ships with revolving turrets will assemble him when destroyed but as far as killing him....(?)
Help me put an end to his treacherous taunts once and for all!

Yeah, I think you had to hit it with a specific amount of sinibombs before it pulled you in. So you had to time the release of the bombs to when he was close, but not too close. I have it for GBA on the Midway's Greatest Hits, and although I loved the arcade version, the GBA version leaves somethings to be desired.

Ram or shoot the asteroids to release little white dots. For each dot you collect you get a bomb. When the sinistar is completed and it starts chasing you, try to stay close enough to the sinistar so that it is on the same screen as you but far enough away so that it doesn't 'eat' you. Then, start releasing bombs like mad.
Good luck. I think my record is reaching the third level. Hard as heck, but still a great game.
