I assume this record has only been recorded since 1975, since that is as far as the records go back on it

Big Mac owns the record currently with 62 games

Ryan Klesko had a 56 game streak earlier in the season

Gary Sheffield is currently on a 52 game streak

I thought the record was held by Ted Williams with 75. I know Jeter had a streak of 50 something last year or 2 years ago.

with luis castilla and his hit streak.. i titled the thread 'how long with luis' steak continue'.. I avoided doing that for gary
