Amelie U.S. version sub typos

Call me anal or what you will, but miramax has managed to botch an otherwise flawless dvd transfer of amelie by having a number of errors within the english subtitles (around 8 on just one watch of the movie). Dvd talk's review of the movie mentioned no real problems with the subtitles so I am wondering if there are a number of bad dvd's floating around out there or if all of them are like this.

An easy way to check (and the most obvious typo in my version) is when Amelie returns the book of photo's to nino, and then calls him on the payphone and tells him to look at "page 5", where in the subs it reads "page st."

Like i said i realize these are small errors and take very little away from a great movie but these sort of things should be caught if they are in all of the Amelie dvd's (if in fact they are). Please let me know if you have the same typo and more that you notice as i am curious to know just how many there are. Thanks to anyone who writes back.

He's talking about this: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=amelie

This is also in the wrong forum. I'd just move it, but it would essentially just be a duplicate of the thread I just linked, so please see if you can get the information you want by continuing this in that thread.

Thanks.
