Best price for OTA only HDTV Tuner/Receiver...?
Looking for the cheapest priced OTA(Off the air) HDTV Tuner. Preferably from a B&M store. Anyone find a good deal for one of these?? I live in an apartment and have no ned /use for digital sat YET. Please no mention of DSS/OTA combo tuners, those go for more $$$. Just looking for a OTA only tuner for local HDTV broadcasts here in San Diego. Starting price-$200.
Thanks for any info

The only one I know of is the Samsung SIR-T150, and it's brand new brother SIR-T151.
I bought mine when it first came out through JandR.com, but I have seen them recently at Best Buy. I think they're going for $400-$500, but that's just a guess.
I've been really happy with mine. Had no desire for any type of DSS capability to screw it up.

I just got the Samsung SIR-T151 last week. I had no desire for DSS either. It works great except I have yet to hear a broadcast in 5.1 DD. Got it hooked up with a fiber optic cable and I set the output to Dolby (vs. PCM) on the thing, but the best I've heard so far is Dolby Pro Logic. So far the only shows I've seen in HD are The Tonight Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, The King of Queens, and an endless HDTV demonstration on PBS. Anyone know if these programs are broadcast in 5.1 DD?
Anhoo, I got it for $365 (out the door) at abtelectronics.com.
