I accidentally washed a GBA cart

Somehow, I left my Namco Museum cart in my pants pocket. Washed clothes. Afterwards looked in horror as I saw my little cart at the bottom of the washer. Left it alone till this morning and it works fine. All games are OK and my score saves are even intact. I must say I'm impressed :)

The reason I didn't bother it till this morning was because I remember my uncle spilling soda all over the TV (he was drunk) and evewn with sparks and stuff flying the thing worked once everything dried out, so I figured if something got wet in there give it some time to dry. It worked.

Too bad they haven't really come up with something nice to hold the carts though. They are indestructible (I have a dog chewed one) but man they get lost easily.

Ok, million dollar idea- I'm looking at my GBA right now and I think they could put at least two more (inactive) slots in it to hold extra games.

Anyway, GBA is still one of the best systems ever made.

The GBA is tough too. When it came out EGM did all kinds of stuff to it and tested it to see if it would still work. One of the tests was flushing it in a toilet. When the GBA dried, it still worked like a charm.

In Nintendo power a few years ago someone sent in a gameboy that belonged to a soldier in Iraq that had a scud missile explode somewhere near it. The screen and everything was melted, but it still kind of worked. Well... it still made sounds when the power was turned on. heh.

Namco Museum? I think it does save your high scores.

Yea, I meant my high scores for all the games. That's all it saves.

Huh? My copy doesn't save high scores. What's up with that? Did it get updated?
