Oh you didn't know? Yo' ass betta caaaaaaall somebody!

No, they certainly were not a great tag team ... but they had one of the best intros.

The U.S. Champ Rick Rude and the TV Champ "Stunning" Steve Austin

So many to choose from. One of the best matchwise had to be Rob Van Dam and Sabu.

Then you've got...

The Moondogs
The Freebirds
The Steiner Brothers
DOOM(Butch Reed and Ron Simmons aka Farooq)
Hart Foundation
Flyin' Brian Pillman and the Z-Man
Sting and Lex Luger

yes the British Bulldogs, Midnight Express, Hart Foundation, LOD (Roadwarriors), the Rockers, etc. were all good, but none were as good as EDGE AND CHRISTIAN! It was a sad, sad day for wrestling when they split those two up. :(

I met the Sheik, and he was very nice. I said, "mind if I get your picture with me?" "Sure," he says. My friend snaps the shot, and as I turn to thank him, he holds my arm tightly and curtly says "10 dollars."

anther vote for LOD. those guys rocked!!!!!!
nash/hall were good
early Steiners
Brothers of Destruction(Kane +UT)

Some new good but not greates are: Hardys, Dudleys, E/C. Their TLC matchups rocked. Too bad WWE has to play all these horrible female matches instead of giving guys like these more air time.

Bobo Brazil and The Sheik, this happened when wrestling was on a downwards turn in the late 70's and they would of tried anything to make it work better.

Older:
The Rockers (I loved these guys...most action in a WWF ring back then)
The Hart Foundation
The Bulldogs
The Road Warriors (Didn't like them as much when they were LOD)
Hogan and Macho Man - The Mega Powers (Yeah, a gimmick of such but they were great)
Strike Force (another quick paced team)

More Recent:
NAO
Edge and Christine
The Hardys
The Dudleys
Hall and Nash

40 some posts, and no mention of "The Dream Team?"- Brutus Beefcake and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (w/ Luscious Johnny V. in their corner). Held the title for a while until the British punks stole it away.

Thought the Hulkster and Orndorf would be a good one, until Pauly, Pauly jumped teams and sided with Bundy, Stud and Heenan.

This is all great if you enjoy the ho-hum atmosphere of 4 man tag wrestling. But for my taste, the 6 man wrestling of the Von Erichs vs. the Freebirds is the stuff tag team wrestling was meant to be.

All this hype, and no one mentions the REAL pros:

The Mulkey Brothers (is that spelled right...they had a record of like 1 win to 3129487 losses)!

And who could forget "The Ding Dongs"?

Why give up now? If you want all that more than 2 man tag team action, how about that one tag team of 4 or 5 Doink the clowns?

I can't believe more people havent' mentioned the Hollywood Blondes....My favorite team of the time. I think they got to pobular and the idiots in charge of WCW at the time split them up. My all time fovorite would have to be Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan "The Midnight Express"

The Mulkey Brothers (is that spelled right...they had a record of like 1 win to 3129487 losses)!

Man, I remember when they were having a tournament to get into one of the PPV's, and it was Randy Mulkey against some superstar. Mulkey was laying on the ground and the guy tripped over him backwards and Mulkey got the rollup pin! One of the most shocking and hilarious moments in wrestling!

The Road Warriors, hands down (before they became L.O.D)

distant second:
The british bulldogs
the von erichs.
