Wow, they look great. But unless I'm way off, each disc (even in the box sets) is gonna cost over 40 of our puny U.S. dollars.

Yeah, Japanese DVDs were never cheap. The quality is usually excellent though. It'll cost around $1000 for the entire set.

I also looked @ the MASTERWORKS 1 page on Amazon.co.jp & it only mentioned Japanese subs...unfortunately that counts me out. Some days I can barely handle English.

Keep your chin up, maybe some Belgian etailer will sell the HKL version of this box set which will be packaged the same and have english subtitles and anamorphic transfers and cost only $40 per box. Then after you order it, they will send you Beast Cops.

The sets look fantastic. And the price at Amazon is "only" about $300 for the first set. For seven discs, that's almost a steal in Japanese DVD buying.
