best 300+ Disc Changer
with DVD recorders and PVR's, i am running out of cabinet space and i might have to combine the 200 disc cd changer and the dvd player. Looking into a 300+ disc DVD changer.
any suggestions?

I think the Elite is the best. I would hold on for a new player if you could though. I expect to see SACD and DVD-A make it to these changers by the end of the year!

geeze, having such a high volume of discs in one unit... thats pretty nutty. how would you know if you want to play willie nelson, but instead dr. dre comes up by chance???

I have a 300+1 DVD changer and a 300 disc CD changer both by Sony.
My experience has been the 300 disc CD changer is great.
The 300+1 DVD changer is a pain. The 'Disc Explorer' interface is seriously slow. The ability to put in titles is limited, 12 characters per title. Having 500+ DVDs has made it obsolete.
I plan on getting rid of both though. I switched all my CDs to 320bit MP3 files and sold off all my CDs. I plan on getting a good single DVD player.
