Kudama

I just found out that I got one of the PS2 units that likes to scratch games while they are running. Has anyone here gone through Sony to get a similar unit fixed or replaced? I've only had it for about 30 days and I understand that there's a 90 day warranty.

I'm just curious what to expect from them. Any info is totally appreciated.
