My DVDs have "green lines"
Ok - I have an APEX 3 disc dvd player... recently, most of my dvds get "green lines" in many frames, and an occasional red/blue flash for a frame or two.
VERY irritating.
When I play the DVD on another one of my players, no problem.
Is the DVD player dirty? Defective? something else? Can I clean it? Throw it out the window?
Thanks.

My guess would be that it's in the video contection somewhere, especially since you have problems with the RGBs....
It could be as simple as a bad cable or as bad as a faulty DVD player. The APEX is not exactly a high quality DVD player so it could be bad.
Try changing cables first. Then try inserting the cable into a different input on your TV to test if it's a faulty TV input. After these steps, if it still does it, try using a different kind of cable, i.e., if you are using S-Video, switch to a component or composite video cable.
That being said, if it is still doing it, time to get a new DVD player since the fault is in the DVD player intself.
Hope this can help you a bit.

Thanks.
Given your comments, it's probably the Apex.
(I simply removed the cabling from the Apex and put it into another player and that worked fine, so the cabling and TV input check out.)
Too bad, since I use the Apex as my Region 2 player...
Maybe I'll try it with RCA cables instead of SVideo? (Audio seems fine)
Luckily I have 4 dvd players, but this was my multiregion one.
